A combine is a great way to showcase your playing abilities for coaches and recruiters. In order to catch a coach or recruiter’s eyes, you must be at the top of your abilities and perform each drill better than your competition. Yet, many athletes show up to their combine test—their big audition—unprepared and untrained for the drills.
Our Combine Prep Camp will make you an EXPERT at actual combine tests. Our camp is based off of the exact techniques we utilize to train our elite athletes—those players who have successfully mastered the test and achieved their ultimate goal—college ball and the NFL.

"Are You Ready To Gain Up To 5-15 Reps Of Explosive Power On Your Bench Press, Shave .6 Seconds Off Of Your 40 Time, Add 6-8 inches On Your Vertical Jump And Finally Get The Recognition And Respect Of Football Coaches, Scouts And Your Teammates?"
How much could you or your athletes benefit from a speed, strength & conditioning program that gives you a step-by-step football training blueprint for developing brutal strength, explosive power and blazing speed?
Question:
Have you ever felt like there is way too much information on strength
& conditioning, and that you don’t even know where to begin? Well, I
hear that a lot.
After attaining three degrees in the field, multiple certifications, and have interned with some of the best strength and speed coaches in the country, I have surmised that there is no magic bullet, no shortcuts… just science, provable, reproducible and reliable science. I have come up with a progressive system of screening, assessment and evaluation that will discover everyone’s weak link in their efforts to get bigger, faster, stronger and less injury prone (and it’s never what you think). I’m trying to not speak riddles, but if throwing some weight training, some protein powder and some cool drills or the latest training ”toy” at the problem would solve all your performance issues, we all would be the next Michael Jordan or Ladainian Tomlinson.
It takes a trained eye to know what to look for.
Needless to say, players, coaches and parents have been inundated with commercials, info-products, so-called “experts”, infomercials, equipment companies, former pro-athletes (just because you were a great athlete, does not make you a great coach), and extraneous information that it has made everyone a bit suspicious of anyone claiming to have the answers. Here’s the is skinny on the subject, I have been in the trenches for 25 years (competitive athletics from junior high through college till now) and have studies, implemented and experimented on every program that has come down the pike. I have made every mistake that one has made with program design because it was:
1. The next best thing
2. An pro athletes used to do this program
3. My favorite college used this program
4. Some magazine or website said it was state-of-the-art
5. This routine only works if you purchase this piece of equipment
6. And so on…
So here is the top four myths I hear everyday as a coach of athletes of all levels and ages…
Myth #1:
Athletes
can get faster by improving sprint mechanics and speed drills...
Let's face it - athletes
today are plain-old weak!
More often than not, parents walk into my gym and demand that I teach their son
or daughter to get faster. This is all well and good, but when I simply ask
Junior (who is 6'1 - 205lbs) to perform a bodyweight squat and he can't do it
without rounding his low back and keeping his chest up - I have to tell mom
that it can’t be done!
The foundation for football training and all sports movements - including
sprinting, is a solid, unshakeable foundation of STRENGTH (and flexibility).
Not only must you be strong enough to move your own bodyweight, you've got to
be able to do it with other athletes lurching themselves at you... and you
had better be able to do it quickly!
Also, Relative Body Strength is the single most important quality to develop for increased power and speed. In a nut shell, this means that the athlete that can move his own bodyweight with the greatest ease will generally be the faster athlete.
Teaching sprint technique drills speed drills to a weak athlete - is a waste of time!
As far as technique is concerned think about this. If you are a running back carrying the ball towards the end zone with 12, 200+ lb. behemoths trying to rip your head off, are you thinking:
A) Keep my elbows "tight"
and hands loose.
B) Reach with my heel forwards and pull back against the turf.
C) Grunt!... Ugh, *pant* *pant*... arggg! CRASH!!!
"Get stronger, and the rest will follow!" - This doesn't mean that we don't speed train, it simply means that we begin with the foundations of speed and build from there.
Let us teach you the CORRECT way to perform these lifts so that your athlete:
1. Gets really STRONG
2. Gets really EXPLOSIVE
3. Get really STABLE
4. Gets really FAST
5. Gets really MUSCULAR
6. And above all…gets really INJURY PREVENTIVE!
Myth #2:
An
Increase In One’s Vertical Jump Is A Matter Of Just Performing More Squats
The Vertical Jump is probably THE best test of one’s explosive ability than any other test available. That’s why it has stayed a staple in the testing process of many athletes, many sports at all levels. But the way some one launches into the ascension phase and landing phase can tell you a novel of aspects of the athlete’s real ability to generate power.
An athlete’s ability to dunk a ball is an example of power. But not the same as a Vertec Vertical Jump (don’t be fooled by those “combines” that use a Just Jump Mat to test your athlete’s vertical jump) This is the EXACT same vertical jump testing device the NFL uses in its testing of football’s elite athletes. But, the ability to run up to hoop and do a lay-up or even a slam dunk, is nowhere near the same jump mechanics as the one the NFL calls for. We show you the difference between the two.
At the ICON Performance Football Combine Training & Testing Camp, you will learn:
Myth #3:
40 Yard Dash Speed Is Just A Matter of Running More:
The granddaddy of all sports performance tests…the 40 yard dash. So important to American Football, we won’t even think about converting it to meters!
This test is so important we have given it the highest priority in our program. Speed training for the combines is crucial to making it to the next level. Whether it has anything to do with your position, it doesn’t matter. Because in the end, when it comes down to a head coach picking between you and another player, in the back of his head, he’s thinking… which one is faster?
Nature of the beast. Nothing you can do about it. So, what do we do about it? We work on every single stride of that 40 yard dash till it’s perfect and maximized to its utmost potential. Whether you are a 300 lb lineman or a 150 wide receiver, the 40 yard dash could get coaches, recruiters and scouts looking in your direction that never looked before.
At the ICON Performance Football Combine Training & Testing Camp, you will learn:
Myth #4:
In Order For One To Bench More Reps, One Must Practice With Their Assigned Rep Max Weight:
The Bench Press. The King of Upper Body Movements. This has been a staple in football weight rooms since the days of the invention of the barbell. Football coaches love this exercise as it mimics the act of blocking. That’s how it ended up on the “must-have” list of tests for the football combine.
At the ICON Performance Football Combine Training & Testing Camp, you will learn:
These are just some of the issues / topics we will be covering at the Training and Testing Camp:
And believe me... this is just the tip of the iceberg. ICON Performance’s Football Combine Training System is so much more than just a 'football prep training program'- it's a complete system for sure-fire success - possibly the most comprehensive training program ever developed! No hype, no B.S., no gimmicks - just the FACTS you need to know for your athlete to start winning scholarships - NOW!
But How Much Is This All Going To Cost Me?
You think it's going to be
expensive. I get that. How could you not think it when you see all you're
getting, and compare it to what you get elsewhere?
But I can honestly tell you it'll cost much less than it's worth. And far, far
less than you think.
Let's first talk about what it's NOT going to cost...
$12,480 for a personal trainer. It's true. $80 per session... 3 times a week... that's a yearly bill of $12,480... Hardly worth it, especially considering that most personal trainers know NOTHING about strength and conditioning for football or how to train for increased speed and power.
But you won't pay
anything
close to that!
More than $2000 on gym equipment. Just flip through the exercise equipment magazines
that come in the mail and you'll see endless ads for sports training workout
gismos, rubber band contraptions and "super high-tech" machines that
can cost you a fortune of more than $5000.
Most of this equipment will do nothing more than drain your bank account while
actually delivering weaker results than you could obtain using basic,
straightforward free weight equipment, and my program.
But you aren't going to pay $1,000,
or
even $500!
How about something as low as $280? A 2-year subscription to a bodybuilding magazine can
cost you 140 bucks. Let's say you only got 2 subscriptions... That's 140
wasted dollars right there.
Why wasted? Because virtually all major muscle magazines are owned by
supplement companies and are created for the sole purpose of pushing more
useless pills and powders on you that you don't really need.
Plus... unless you're juiced up on steroids and hormones, the workout programs
that you read about will NOT be effective! Almost all of those programs
are submitted by "chemically enhanced", drugged up pro bodybuilders
who have never played a down of football in their life.
Not even close.
Trust me, if you're looking to maximize your speed, muscle gains and football
performance in the shortest period of time possible, then mark my words...
You do NOT need an overpriced,
full-of-himself personal trainer...
You do NOT need any special
"breakthrough" supplements...
You do NOT need to sift through endless
books and magazines...
You do NOT need any fancy high-tech training
equipment...
You do NOT need to put in countless slave
hours in the gym...
Just $47.00!
So don't hesitate.
Before slots fill up (and they are filling up fast)
